Group Travel for Moms: Fun, Friendship, and Unforgettable Adventures
For many moms, the idea of traveling feels like a distant dream. Life gets in the way, schedules are busy, and sometimes you don’t even have a travel buddy to join you. That’s why I’m passionate about creating group travel experiences just for moms—a chance to connect with others, make unforgettable memories, and enjoy a break that’s truly about you.
Why Group Travel?
Group travel is the perfect solution for moms who need a getaway but don’t have friends to travel with or simply want to meet new people. Personally, I’ve taken three solo Momcations, and on each trip, I met incredible women who have become lifelong friends. These women have supported me through motherhood, marriage, and even my journey as a business owner. It’s amazing how a shared experience can create such meaningful connections. These trips combine fun, relaxation, and friendship, offering moms the chance to reconnect with themselves while forming lasting bonds with others.
My Vision for Group Travel
I plan to organize 3–5 group trips every year that any mom can join. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, these trips are designed to create a welcoming environment for everyone. Think of them as a guilt-free opportunity to step away from the everyday grind and focus on what makes you happy.
Upcoming Group Trips
More Than Just a Mom Group Sailing
The first group trip I’m organizing is the "More Than Just a Mom Group Sailing," happening the week after Mother’s Day in 2025. This trip is perfect for moms looking for a short, rejuvenating break. Whether you bring your girlfriends or come solo, we’ll have activities and meetups planned to make sure everyone feels included.
I’m thrilled to partner with The Motherhood Village, a South Florida-based community dedicated to supporting moms’ mental health and fulfillment. After attending their summit this past September and speaking with founder Nicole, it became clear that this partnership was a perfect match. Many moms in her community have been longing for a getaway to rediscover themselves, and this group trip is the perfect opportunity.
Ireland Small Group Tour
In 2025, I’m also hosting a 9-day small group tour of Ireland, a country that holds a special place in my heart. With both my husband and father being Irish, I’ve traveled there countless times, lived there for several years, and even had my oldest daughter born there.
This trip will be limited to 40 moms, creating an intimate and memorable experience. We’ll explore castles, wander through stunning countryside, visit the Waterford Crystal factory, enjoy whiskey tastings, and even climb majestic cliffs. It’s a blend of adventure, culture, and connection that I can’t wait to share with you.
Dreams for the Future
My vision for group travel doesn’t stop there. Over the coming years, I plan to offer trips that suit every mom’s dream getaway:
Relaxing wellness retreats in Mexico
Shopping at the Christmas markets in Germany
Touring the Greek islands
Indulging in fresh pasta and wine in Italy
I’m even toying with the idea of themed group trips inspired by books, movies, cuisines, or seasons. The possibilities are endless, and the world is vast.
As I continue building Momcations.co, these dreams reflect my own journey as well. This business isn’t just about creating vacations; it’s about helping moms thrive and reconnect with themselves—just as I’ve worked to do. Every step of this journey, from dreaming up new destinations to seeing moms bond on these trips, is part of my own growth as a mom, a business owner, and a woman rediscovering her passions.
The Best Part? There’s Always Another Trip
One of the things I love most about group travel is that it’s always evolving. If you can’t join us this year or next, don’t worry—there will always be another opportunity. Whether it’s a cruise, a land tour, or something completely unique, I’ll keep creating trips that give moms the chance to connect, relax, and explore.
Where Should We Go Next?
So, momma, where’s your dream destination? I’d love to hear your ideas for future group trips. Comment below or visit Momcations.co to let me know. Your next adventure could be just around the corner—and I can’t wait to plan it with you!
QUESTION: Who would you take with you on a future momcation group trip or would you go solo?
Until next time, here’s to making time for yourself - you deserve it!
